I didna#39;t tell Nana or Granddad why I was so eager to get into college, but I did discuss my school plans with them. Neither of them thought getting a GED was ideal; both said a high school diploma was preferable and would be more highly regarded by future ... out when I moved to Portland, he suggested I schedule an appointment with a program adviser and explain my situation and request admission.
